Lyophilized peptide is a dry powder. Adding bacteriostatic water dissolves it into a solution at a known concentration — mg/mL = vial mass ÷ water volume.
A 1 mL insulin syringe shows 100 units across its barrel, so 10 units = 0.1 mL. The calculator returns both mL and units so you can draw on whichever syringe you have.
Reconstituted peptides degrade faster than the dry powder. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C and aim to use within 28 days. Bacteriostatic water (not sterile water) is preferred because it contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol to inhibit microbial growth.
This calculator is provided for in vitro and laboratory use by qualified researchers. Nothing here constitutes medical advice, dosing guidance, or a recommendation to use any peptide in or on humans or animals.
